Owned by architect Jaime Romano and his wife Roberta Jurado, Sa Vinya is a beautiful rural house located in Santa Inés, (Santa Agnès in Catalan), a charming village on the northwest side of the island, famous for its iconic almond trees. But the island iconic winter landscape of hills dotted with white and pink flowers may soon disappear, as the almond trees have a life cycle of only 70 years and most of them need to be replaced. For this reason in this project, there was no doubt that the main type of crop would be the almond groves to preserve the island's emblematic landscape.
